Franco strives to provide players with the best soccer experience possible by creating a fun yet competitive player-centered environment which focuses on long-term player development. His passion for the game and coaching philosophy results in his players falling in love with “the beautiful game”.

His coaching accomplishments include numerous regular season and tournament championship and finalist results. Franco began his head coaching career in 2011 at King of Prussia SC, where he later became the Director of Player Development, Girls.. There his teams amassed a combined 33-7-10 league-play record including two undefeated seasons; championships in 2012,13; a finalist result in 2014; and a semi-final appearance in 2015. Tournament results include championships in 2012,13,14 and a finalist result in 2015. Most recently, Franco became the DIrector of Coaching, Girls and head coach at Chester Springs United, the Varsity Girls Head Coach at Upper Merion Area Middle School and Head Coach of 360 Soccer Summer Select and Futsal Academy teams. His U14 Girls Futsal Academy team won the University of Delaware Futsal Classic tournament championship in 2017.

Franco’s playing experience includes travel club play at KOPSC, high-school soccer at Upper Merion, where he received All-Suburban One League Honors in 1989, and collegiate play at Penn State University Ogontz Campus.

Franco truly considers himself a life-long student of the game. From watching his father play semi-pro soccer in Philadelphia as a child, to most recently acquiring a USSF D-License in 2016, he seeks to continually improve his coaching skills by learning new and more creative ways to teach soccer. Franco is scheduled to attain a USSF C-License in 2017.
